Company history

Technotrade ltd. was established in 1991 as an exclusive distributor of the hydraulics division of the Danish company Danfoss for the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Since then, we have managed to develop a successful partnership with Danfoss and are now established as one of the leading distribution partners of Danfoss Power Solutions in the CEE region.

Over the years, we have also become a distributor of other leading part manufacturers, such as Curtis Instruments, Dana TM4, e-comer, Reggiana Riduttori, SAI, Vanguard Commercial Power, White Drive Motors & Steering and others, with the aim to extend the portfolio of products we offer. We co-operate only with renowned partners in order to offer only the best-in-class products and components to our customers.

In 2012, Technotrade SK ltd., based in Nová Dubnica, Slovakia, was founded. In the middle of 2021, the Czech headquarters moved from Olomouc to new modern premises in the Nasobůrky industrial zone near Litovel. The company’s administrative seat remains in Olomouc. Starting from 2021, the Technotrade Electric Drives branch in Wroclaw, Poland, has been active, focusing on the development of electric drives.

Since December 2023, all Technotrade branches have become part of Hainzl Motion & Drives, a division of the international Austria-based Hainzl Group. Hainzl acquired a 50% share in Technotrade.

In November 2024, Technotrade became a distribution partner of Danfoss Drives, thus widening its product and services portfolio with industrial AC drives.
